Illegal immigrants deserve medical care for swine flu.  Gee thanks for the newsflash...  You are my hero...  I think I need to start a file of people who shouldn't be getting paid for what they do.  I work for a living, this guy is a joke.  Let's see, I have a deadline to meet, what should I write about?  Oh, Swineflu is big...  Illegal immigration is big (both in the news because of outbreak and mayday protests)  Lets combine them and through in Universal healthcare.  He then calls a few people and gets quotes like this...

"Swine flu knows no borders," notes Carmela Castellano-Garcia, chief executive of the California Primary Care Assn., an organization of roughly 700 clinics. "It pays no regard to income or immigration status."

So swineflu is just like the workers of the world...  They know no borders...

One can argue, as I have, that our borders should be protected and respected. People should come here the right way, legally. And, fortunately, the Obama administration has signaled its intent to crack down on employers who illegally hire undocumented workers.

Do we really want someone who's sneezing, coughing and exhibiting flu-like symptoms that are contagious to be trying to ride it out without seeing a doctor? Not if we're sane and attempting to contain an epidemic. Treating illegal immigrants -- or anyone else who's poor and uninsured -- is a practical imperative. Never mind the moral obligation.

All of this is just smokescreen and bullshit.
 
1. If someone is here in this country and needs care, help them.
2. Close the borders.
3. Jail the employers.
4. Deport the illegals.
 
There ya go, my 4 point plan to fix the problem of illegals and the swineflu.  Notice no special plan for the swineflu...  Number one covers it.  Now go ahead and tell me how we cant round up all the illegals....  I will then point you to entire towns of illegals....

On dealing with women...  RS McCain is currently in a heated discussion with some of the women of the Blogosphere  and writes a lengthy post on how to argue with women...
 
Sadly...  He gains no ground with the women in question...  One of them responds in the comments in regards to using the words "slut" and "whore"...
 

I think the terms, as you used them, are both gratuitously offensive and technically inaccurate. FWIW, my husband (a career Marine who's hardly a shrinking violet) agreed with me when I asked him what he thought. My Dad (career Naval officer) would not have been caught dead using those terms either.

Well, there you have it.  RS McCain should bow before such evidence...  Or not.  Sadly Cassandra continues the moral equivalence arguement....  While I have not read the whole back and forth, I did read Cassandra's post linked above...  As a true conservative I disagree 100%.
 
As a Society we have lost the value of shame.  I say call a slut a slut.  Now if your offended by that because men are not equally labeled I can live with that.  I say call them out as well, but do not lose the value of shame.  Problem is I think we have gone so far off the deep end that no one knows what shame is anymore... 
 
When someone promotes Whorism...  but calls it something else...  It is up to the rest of us to call it what it is...  Whorism.

While surfin the web I came accross some topics of interest....

Man shot dead outside London prison  2 things come to mind immediately...  1.  UK's gun control sure is working. 2.  Shouldn't the two bad guys already be in jail themselves?  Afterall it is said that the CCTV Cameras in the UK can follow and track everyone...  Oh let me guess, no cameras outside the PRISON!!!

Free school meals for 30,000 Newham pupils in bid to cut obesity another link about the UK...  but it is so telling in it's stupidity.  If those idiots cared to see what happens when you provide free meals they only need look at the California School system....

Oh yea, it does NOTHING for obesity...  But it does take from the workers and give to the non workers....

"Nationally, one in five eligible children does not take up free meals. Some officials believe this may be because of the stigma attached to pupils admitting they need financial help in front of classmates."

Don't worry, when you start handing it out to everyone they will all soon join in...

The problem with this program is that is won't be used instead of bad eating habits...  it will be added to their eating habits.

Free meals, foodstamps dont make for good eating habits...  it just gives free stuff to eat.  Then add it on top of the bad fastfood choices....

But foodstamps run low...  oh yea, the woman pictured here is starving!!  Or this guys picture of a line for people to get foodstamps in New Orleans.....  looks like they all are starving doesnt it.

Remember these people are food Inscure....   we must coddle them.

To be serious for a moment, we should expect a whole lot more of this as the nomination process gets underway. But since there are so many eminently qualified women of all races, I have to assume that anybody who makes this complaint is really just, in their heart of hearts, offended by diversity and equality in representation.

Dana, to be serious for a moment, we on the right should never expect that those on the left would ever understand or care to admit their hatred of white men.

 "equality in representation" is another lefty code for Quotas.  I wonder how many Americans know how large companies are brow beaten into quotas?  How their facilites in geographic areas must match the demographics of an area?

That they can't just put out an ad in the paper, have people show up and hite them?  They are forced to seek out minorities... 

We will not be equal in America until we are judged on the content of our character, and not on the color of our skin or sex.

Found this while reading Memeorandum, as suggested by The Other McCain here. You would think that with today's GPS technology nations would move to create a more "fixed" border... Instead of a border based on transitory objects.

Eh, sure the glaciers have been around a long time... But you base your borders on Ice? Dunno, just seemed odd to me... Glaciers advance and recede...

Whatever your opinion about how we humans are best suited to deal with the impacts of climate change and our role in generating that phenomenon, when countries have to start redrawing their borders as a result of those impacts it’s hard to argue that there isn’t any phenomenon to argue over.

I know people on the right who are aware that climate change is real and problematic, but who somehow don’t really feel that engaging with the denialists on their side and trying to educate people is an important thing to do. It seems
like an odd point of view to me.

I guess we all need to save our ice from our soft drinks and shipp it to the Swiss so they can fight back the loss of the glaciers.... Because you know they (being the glaciers) have never receded before.... Man is destroying the natual order!!!!
