Is Rush an Asshole?

its
That is the poll question on a facevook poll.  So far two thirds say he is an asshole.  I voted No.  In the comments this lovely individual gives this little comment.  Let me say upfront I do not mind all his misspellings, as I am no one to talk...  I will assume its just quick netspeak that caused all the errors...

Wesley KraaySep 7

i can understand why all the racists and so called religous right people love him because they also think that nobody has the rigt to live unless they agree with what they want. will be intresting to see them explan to god why they were so filled with hate towards any one that they disagreed with. i find it interesting that consertive
will trample all over the rights of anyone they dont like and cry like little babys if everything doesent go their way.its also amazeing that facts only matter to the morons on the right but if you check the facts as reported on fox news its understandable because they dont check the facts. in ther narrow tiny little minds if they lie and preach there hate it must be the truth and all the midless follewers of theres
repeat all the lies and contiue spreading the hate .
What boggles the mind is how do they come up with this stuff?  Group racists with the "so called" religious right...  Then state that they love Rush because they also think no one has the right to live unless they agree with what they want?
WTF?
Is Rush and the religious right pro abortion?  Are they the people who believe in eugenics?  Are they the people who are saying for the other side to "shut up and move out of the way"?
"will trample over the rights of anyone they do not like"
WTF?
Name someone Rush has denied their rights.
also amazeing that facts only matter to the morons on the right but if you check the facts as reported on fox news its understandable because they dont check the facts

What?  So facts do not matter?  Because only the morons on the care about facts?  But then you are a fact checker of the facts on FOXNEWS....

Wow...  Who is the moron?

The Left is looking for an exciting news story.

Moe Lane has it right.  this clip is so distorted...  Then the comments are so far off what they are really showing...   What can they want, if not atleast an attempt to be made?  This is so made up and out of thin air...  Those of us who have seen the uncropped video know it is a black man...

Stunning...

The good guys win one.

William A. Jacobson over at Legal Insurrection has a post about the Supreme Court' Ricci decision.  When I think of the case all I could think of was how our society was going to let reverse discrimination stand.  It was going to be OK to deny whites something merely because another race's applicants for a promotion couldn't pass muster.

Whenever a Liberal sees a minority not pass muster the liberal assumes bias in the examination.  So we have to jump through hoops to prove the opposite.  That in itself is discrimination!!!

Perhaps this will led to the end of quotas.

Dear Mr. President

Here's Pink's song, with just a few changes to be a song for Mr Obama now, instead of Bush....

Dear Mr. President
Come take a walk with me
Let's pretend we're just two people and
You're not better than me
I'd like to ask you some questions
if we can speak honestly

What do you feel when you see all
the homeless on the street
Who do you pray for at night
before you go to sleep
What do you feel when you look in the mirror

Are you proud

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry
How do you dream when a mother has
no chance to say goodbye
How do you walk with your head held high
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why

Dear Mr. President

Were you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
How can you say
No child is left behind
We're not dumb and we're not blind
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell

What kind of father would take his
own granddaughter's or Grandson's rights away
And what kind of father might
hate his own Granddaughter if she
were a mistake
I can only imagine what the
first lady has to say

You've come a long way from pot and cocaine

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry
How do you dream when a mother has
no chance to say goodbye
How do you walk with your head held high
Can you even look me in the eye

Let me tell you bout hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you bout hard work
Rebuilding your house after the
bombs took them away
Let me tell you bout hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box

Let me tell you bout hard work

Hard work
Hard work
you don't know nothing bout hard work
Hard work
Hard work

Oh

How do you sleep at night
How do you walk with your head held high
Dear Mr. President
You'd never take a walk with me
Would you

BIG DILEMMA: OPRAH BALKS AT HOSTING SARAH PALIN; STAFF DIVIDEDFri Sep 05 2008 08:55:46 ETOprah Winfrey may have introduced Democrat Barack Obama to the women of America -- but the talkshow queen is not rushing to embrace the first woman on a Republican presidential ticket!Oprah's staff is sharply divided on the merits of booking Sarah Palin, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT."Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on," an insider explains. "Oprah's website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama."One executive close to Winfrey is warning any Palin ban could ignite a dramatic backlash!

Oprah then responds -

OPRAH'S STATEMENT: "The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."

yea... I believe ya Oprah... Introduce Obama... Then shut the door on using your show as a platform.... yea, seems unbiased.

I hope those who see through you stop watching...

Predictions for 2008

1. White Males will be blamed for some social ill before the first day of the year is complete. I will find it and post it as soon as I see it... I will wait until atleast 6am pst to start looking as I will have ton's of stuff to choice from, but I want to try and find something posted/printed/communicated after the the new year.

EDIT: Eh didn't find anything on day one, but didnt look too hard... Check this out... on the 5th this crap was published.

"Barack Obama. Hillary Rodham Clinton. Bill Richardson. The field of minority and female candidates for president has never been so strong. But the question remains: Despite the expected presence of an African- American, a woman, and a Latino, will America in 2008 elect yet another male president of northern European descent?
No one can say for certain, but we hope this streak ends soon, because it's important that America elect its leaders from the full breadth of talent available in its diverse population."

Horseshit!!! I hope we elect the best leader... be he/she whatever. Race and gender have nothing to do with it.

2. Europe will have more riots/culture clash as they reap what the sow.

3. More speed cameras and video cameras will pop up all over America as cities look to find more ways to make revenue.

4. I will continue to see shopping carts abandoned along the road from my house to the local supermarket. My house is 1.5 miles from the supermarket and uncivilized people continue to shop at the store then push the cart all the way home, then abandon it. Photos to come.

5. Global warming alarmists will lose ground as they realize that the Earth is a large closed system with mechanisms to control its weather patterns.

6. Pittsburgh will win superbowl 42. Err, make that 43.

7. The area around San Francisco (imagine a large circle from the city of Napa to Santa Cruz) will leave the union and the union doesnt care. In fact the Union asks Vermont to join them.

8. States that inact and enforce immigration laws like Arizona will see less illegal immigrants. Those who continue to be open border advocates will see more illegal immigrants.

9. Miley Cyrus won't be another Spears or Lohan... Atleast not in 2008

10. I'll be back here same time next year, guessing what will happen in 2009.

Let the Games begin!!! 2008 Here we come!!!

How can we ever get to be colorblind?

If we have Garbage like this day and night?

NEW YORK (Reuters) - As spring collections are paraded on the catwalks at New York's Fashion Week, ethnic diversity is noticeably lacking among the models and some fashion industry insiders say discrimination is prevalent.

Give me a break!!!! They should employ whoever they want... and you would think it will be what sells!!! Isn't that what they are supposed to be doing?

Clinton....

Clinton addressed about 700 students and faculty on campus later in the day, praising the players and naming them one-by-one while criticizing "bigotry" against women. She never named Imus directly and made a point of saying her criticism wasn't intended to curtail free speech.

She urged the crowd to take a "Rutgers pledge," to say, "Enough is enough, when women or minorities or the powerless are marginalized or degraded."

Once again, the first thing that stands out to me is the last sentance... Guess I am open to be marginalized and degraded... I am male and considered white, so I guess I must suffer for a few centuries before it is considered wrong to degrade me.

Watch... they are going to find a way to blame "whitey (meaning straight white males only) for the VTECH shootings.

Freaking amazing

Here we sit, with the Dow above 12,000. Higher than anytime under any other administration.... Yet this is the type of BS in the MSM today.

"Dow loss streak longest in over a year
Major gauges erase most of the session's declines by the close, but worries about the economy remain; oil prices slip."

Wow... I wonder what the headlines would be in the Democrats were in the white house and held both houses of congress....

"Dow still above 12000" President Kerry and his Congress have brought America back from the brink of disaster after 9/11 and Katrina. Thank God for Kerry!!!!"

"who would have believed he could turn the country around so fast!!! Hell, he has a better economy than Clinton during the DOTCOM bubble!!!"

Blah, makes me sick.

IMPARTIAL?

Western Journalists talk about covering the story...how they have to get to know "unsavory" people to get both sides of a story. So let me get this straight, we should have had journalists hanging out with Hitler and taking notes and pictures, but not work to prevent anything he did? I could just see it. On the home front our reporters would be writing "the Invasion will be in Normandy!!!" prior to the invasion, while they would report "we were there with the Germans as they counterstuck in the Ardennes!!!" after the Battle of the bulge began.

It is sad how we have created such a free society that so many are blind to reality. Check out this piece on a AP "photographer" held by coalition forces in Iraq.

[Hussein, 35, is a native of Fallujah who began work for the AP in September 2004. He photographed events in Fallujah and Ramadi until he was detained on April 12 of this year.]

[The military said Hussein was captured with two insurgents, including Hamid Hamad Motib, an alleged leader of al-Qaida in Iraq. "He has close relationships with persons known to be responsible for kidnappings, smuggling, improvised explosive device (IED) attacks and other attacks on coalition forces," according to a May 7 e-mail from U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Jack Gardner, who oversees all coalition detainees in Iraq.]

[That Hussein was captured at the same time as insurgents doesn't make him one of them, said Kathleen Carroll, AP's executive editor.
"Journalists have always had relationships with people that others might find unsavory," she said. "We're not in this to choose sides, we're to report what's going on from all sides."]

["We want people who are not part of a story. Sometimes it is a judgment call. If someone seems to be thuggish, or like a fighter, you certainly wouldn't hire them," Daniszewski said. After they are hired, their work is checked carefully for signs of bias. ]

["How can you know what a conflict is like if you're only with one side of the combatants?" she(Carroll) said. "Journalism doesn't work if we don't report and
photograph all sides."]

Perhaps one day Caroll will be able to sit calmly and report the bombing of her hometown by these thugs.

IDF bombed a funeral procession in Lebanon

Ok, they didn't bomb a funeral procession, but they did attack the same city. Reuters does it again. Look at the different versions below.

[The day after it was revealed that a Reuters News Agency doctored photographs to show an anti-Israel bias, the news service incorrectly reported Tuesday afternoon that the IDF bombed a funeral procession in Lebanon.Reuters has corrected without apology its earlier story that the IDF strafed a funeral procession and updated the report to state that the bombs struck a village at the same time the funeral was taking place, adding that "the air strike was not in the immediate vicinity of the funeral."]

Lebanon "the Daily Star",
[In yet another gruesome attack on civilians, Israeli air raids killed 14 people and wounded 23 in the Southern village of Ghaziyyeh. The bombs fell near a funeral procession for 15 people killed by a raid there the previous day. ]

Lebanon Narnet newsdesk,
[A deadly Israeli bombing raid struck a southern village Tuesday close to the funeral for those killed in an attack a day earlier as its army and Hizbullah fighters remained locked in bloody clashes inside the border.U.N. relief operations were completely frozen in the south, which has borne the brunt of Israel's 28-day-old offensive and which includes the embattled port city of Tyre, where aid officials say they fear a humanitarian crisis. At least six people were killed and 28 wounded in two raids on the village of Ghaziyeh, close to the city of Sidon, 500 meters away from the funeral procession of 14 people killed there a day earlier, security sources said.]

United Arab Emirates Gulf News.com
[Dubai: Arab ministers were trying at the United Nations last night to modify a proposed Security Council resolution aimed at ending Israel's war on Lebanon as Israeli planes and artillery bombed towns in southern and eastern Lebanon and attacked a funeral procession in the village of Gaziyeh, killing at least 16 people.]

Irish Examiner.com,
[Funerals were under way in Ghaziyeh south of Sidon, where at least seven people died yesterday in a house collapsed by an airstrike. Two Israeli artillery shells landed near a funeral procession, witnesses said, but there was no word on whether anyone was hurt.]

Middle east times.
[TYRE, Lebanon -- A deadly Israeli bombing raid struck a southern Lebanese village Tuesday close to the funeral for those killed in an attack a day earlier as its army and Hezbollah fighters remained locked in bloody clashes inside the border. At least six people were killed and 28 wounded in two raids on the village of Ghaziyeh, close to the city of Sidon, 500 meters (yards) away from the funeral procession of 14 people killed there a day earlier, police said. ]

Scotsman.com,
[Israeli air-strikes continued to take a deadly toll on Lebanese civilians yesterday. A man of 85 was killed in the kitchen of his home near Tyre, while missiles slammed into a funeral procession in Ghaziyeh, a Shiite town south-east of Sidon, killing 14 people. Fifteen people, including at least one child, died in air-strikes on the same town on Monday. ]

Guardian unlimited.
[Israel continued to shell and bomb the valleys near its border while it moved more armour from the south of Israel to the north. Aircraft bombed a village near Sidon which was burying 15 of its residents that were killed in airstrikes earlier in the week. The missile hit a building a few minutes after the funeral procession had passed causing panic but no injuries to the mourners. Lebanese officials said that 14 people were killed in the attack. Police in Beirut said they discovered a further 14 bodies in buildings bombed on Monday.]

On FOXNEWS.com right now.
[Four strikes on Ghaziyeh killed 13 people, one of them walking in a funeral procession to bury the dead from the day before. In two days, at least 28 people were killed in the town, three miles south of Sidon, police and civil defense officials said.]

CNN.com,
[Also Tuesday, Israel attacked the town of Ghaziye near the port city of Sidon, killing eight civilians and wounding more than 30, according to Lebanese Internal Security Forces. ]

Wow. Sad.

Thanks to Ace of Spades. Had I not surfed his blog I woulnt have known that the Story was false. I heard it all day long on CNN, and perhaps FOX,(I click back and forth) yet I have heard no retraction yet. perhaps they will come today. Nothing on CNN.com or MSNBC.com, nor fox yet.... Instead everyone parrots everyone else and like all things on a "grapevine" different versions .....

I wonder how many other things I assumed were "gospel" are false?

Update

Look what I found while looking through the yahoo news photo section on the middle east conflict. The photo of the two women above had the following caption from the associated press.
[Two Lebanese women mourn during the funeral of Lebanese citizens in the southern town of Ghaziyeh, near the port city of Sidon, Lebanon, Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, after they were killed when Israeli airstrikes flattened three buildings Monday killing fifteen people. Israeli airstrikes hit near a funeral procession in Ghaziyeh on Tuesday, sending 1,500 mourners wailing through the streets and killing at least six people in nearby buildings, witnesses and the town's mayor said. (AP Photo/Mohammed Zaatari) ]

this photographer has several other disgusting shots of dead people, including a young child... all with smiliar captions.
